How to unlock the Pickling Jar
You can build the Pickling Jar when your RV reaches level 8. It costs 5,900 Home Coins. The highest level is 5, which needs RV level 19. All the upgrades together cost 1,043,200 Home Coins.
From RV level 12, you can switch it to electric mode. Then it works on its own, with no Aniimo, as long as it is close to your power. A batch of Cider Vinegar takes 54 seconds that way.
Ingredients and seasonings mingle inside the jar, where time and fermentation transform them into entirely new flavors.

Every Pickling Jar recipe
As soon as you build it, the Pickling Jar can make Salted Cherry Blossom and Soy Sauce. Each upgrade adds new recipes. The last one is Candied Orange Flower, at level 5.
Watch out: Umbral Pickle shows up at level 1, but you need Cider Vinegar from the Pickling Jar to make it. You can't make it until RV level 10.
Umbral Pickle is seasonal. You need its Recipe Note, an item that unlocks the recipe, and you can only make it during its season.

Best Aniimo for the Pickling Jar
The Pickling Jar needs a Dark Aniimo, and some are better at it than others. The best ones are Dreaple, Fragrancier, Ignitis, Inferlupa, Pawney, Rookey and Stellarys. They work at level 3. If you have one of their Prismana forms, even better: they work at level 4.
Here's a tip: a Playful Aniimo works 20% faster here. Playful is the P in an Aniimo's four-letter personality. If yours doesn't have it, a Psyche Fruit can change the letters.
Is it worth upgrading the Pickling Jar?
The most expensive upgrade is level 5. It costs 720,000 Home Coins and needs RV level 19. That is more than all the other upgrades put together. But it unlocks Candied Orange Flower, the most valuable thing the Pickling Jar makes, so it is worth saving up for.
