Umbral and variants
Umbral Aniimo, once called Umbrabows, carry a dark sheen and always have Perfect Potential. They appear in Wild Surges from nurturing, rarely in the open world, and hatch from Umbral eggs won in Operation: Egg Heist. The catch is that the sheen is temporary: it disappears as soon as the Aniimo evolves. Aniimo has several other variants, and they stack differently.
How to get an Umbral Aniimo
- Nurture a Bloom to start a Wild Surge; the developers confirmed Umbral Aniimo can appear in them.
- Catch it during the surge. They also appear in the open world, but rarely.
- Or play Operation: Egg Heist and hatch an Umbral Aniimo Egg or Large Umbral Aniimo Egg.

Prismana, Sparkling and Umbral are separate systems, so a Prismana can also be Sparkling.
