How to get Prismana
Prismana appear during a Prismana Flow, a rainbow weather state over one area of Breezy Plains. You start one by nurturing that area's Blooms: each nurture calls a Wild Surge of Aniimo to catch, and releasing the energy you gather fills the area's Prismatic Energy until a Flow begins. With the area's Silver Collection Badge you can skip the build-up and spend a Prismana Crystal at the Breezy Plains Branch. Each area has its own Prismana, such as Blazen in Blitzwood and Turbo in Nimbus Fields.

- Earn the Bronze Collection Badge for the area by catching its native Aniimo. You cannot nurture an area before that.
- Open the map, choose Deliver Lumin Amber, then open Nurture from the Infusion screen.
- Pick the area. If you like, add an elemental shard as an offering to steer which Aniimo gather.
- Press Nurture. Your free charges are used first, then Vein Essence.
- Go to the marked Bloom and attract the Aniimo to start the Wild Surge.
- Catch as many of them as you can before time runs out.
- Return to the Bloom and release the Prismatic Energy into the area.
- Repeat until the gauge fills and a Prismana Flow starts, then follow the marker to the Prismana.
Throw Tumblers during a Wild Surge. They can catch several Aniimo at once, and they get ×6 on Wild Surge targets instead of the usual ×2.

Free nurtures and Vein Essence
You have three free nurture charges, and a used charge refills over time. Nurtures beyond those cost Vein Essence.
Vein Essence comes from the Stamp Shop (50 Windborn Stamps each), Nurture Branch rewards, Elite Training, catch completion rewards and Holo-Battle Interlink.
Lucky Strikes
A Lucky Strike is a random bonus while catching. It gives items, raises the area's Prismatic Energy, and can start a Prismana Flow on the spot.
Since the 18 September patch, when a Lucky Strike fills an area's gauge to the top, Prismana in that area can respawn right away. Each Lucky Strike drops 20 Sparkling Crystals and that your Aniipod does not change the chance of one.
Start a Flow with a Prismana Crystal
- Earn the area's Silver Collection Badge, which unlocks weather control.
- Go to the Breezy Plains Branch and choose Infuse Energy.
- Press Change Weather.
- Pick the area and spend one Prismana Crystal. Prismana Flow starts there.
Sparkling Prismana
A Prismana can also be Sparkling. Throwing a Sparkling Cube at a Prismana always catches it, and the result is both Sparkling and Perfect. Owning one unlocks the achievement Sparkling Bright.

Other ways to get a Prismana
The Prismana Pact gives new players one Prismana of their choice at the Wayfarer I title. Each Companion Handbook version includes an exclusive Prismana egg; this season's is Fulmintis. The developers also say RV dispatches can now produce eggs with the Prismana trait.
Are Prismana stronger?
Not on paper. Every Prismana form has the same base stats, trait and skills as its basic form. What usually changes is the type: most Prismana forms gain an element, often Holy or Dark.

- Whether defeating a Wild Surge Aniimo fills the gauge, or only catching one does.
- The exact size of the Vein Abundance boost. The usual figure is 50% more Prismatic Energy.

How do you get Prismana Aniimo?
Catch them during a Prismana Flow. Start one by nurturing an area's Blooms until its Prismatic Energy is full, or with a Prismana Crystal at the Breezy Plains Branch. New players can also pick one free Prismana in the Prismana Pact.
How do you trigger a Prismana Flow?
Nurture a Bloom, catch the Wild Surge that appears, release the Prismatic Energy at the Bloom, and repeat until the gauge is full. With the Silver Collection Badge you can spend a Prismana Crystal on Change Weather instead.
What are the odds of a Prismana Flow?
A nurture paid for with Vein Essence has a 3% chance to trigger a Prismana Flow directly, and a pity triggers one at 10,500 Prismana.
