How to get Infergon

Infergon, moving, official art
The short answer

You cannot catch Infergon in the wild, and you cannot catch the Omega Infergon either. You evolve your own. Catch a Jawling in Russet Highlands, and it becomes Helmwhelp at level 38. At level 48 Helmwhelp can become Infergon, but only once you have beaten the Omega Infergon and only if that Helmwhelp has Perfect Potential. The quickest way to a Perfect one is to catch it as an Umbral, which always rolls Perfect innate Potential.

The path to Infergon

  1. Step oneCatch a Jawling

Jawling lives in Russet Highlands. Nurturing the area raises its spawn rate. If you can, catch it as an Umbral: an Umbral catch always rolls Perfect innate Potential, which is the hardest part of this whole path done at the start.

  2. Level 38It becomes Helmwhelp

No item and no quest, the level is all it takes.

  3. Before level 48Beat the Omega Infergon

It stands south of the Russet Highlands Bloom. Bring Water, bring a Breaker for the stuns, and when its chest glows orange, its ultimate is coming. You can fight it three times a week and you cannot catch it.

  4. Level 48Evolve it into Infergon

With the Omega beaten and the Helmwhelp at Perfect Potential, the Infergon branch opens. It costs Blaze Stones.

The Perfect Potential part

This is the condition that stops most people. A normal wild catch rarely rolls Perfect. There are three routes that do: catch the Jawling or Helmwhelp as an Umbral, which always rolls Perfect innate Potential; throw a Sparkling Cube, which guarantees Perfect; or raise its acquired Potential afterwards.

Level 48 is also past a title cap. Wayfarer I holds your Aniimo at 45, so you need the promotion past it before this evolution is possible.

The rare one

How to get Prismana InfergonThe Fire and Wind version cannot be evolved at all. It comes from one reward only.

Or the other branch

Helgon or InfergonThe same Helmwhelp can become Helgon instead. Their stats face to face.
Watch out

Beating the Omega Infergon does not give you an Infergon. Omega Aniimo cannot be caught. It is a condition for evolving your own.

Not confirmed yet

  • Whether acquired Potential raised after the catch satisfies the Perfect condition, or whether it has to be the innate roll.
  • Whether the evolution costs one Blaze Stone or three.
  • Which title first lets an Aniimo past level 45.

Infergon, answered

How do you get Infergon in Aniimo?

Evolve a Helmwhelp at level 48 after beating the Omega Infergon, with that Helmwhelp at Perfect Potential. Helmwhelp comes from a Jawling at level 38, and Jawling lives in Russet Highlands.

Can you catch Infergon?

No. Infergon never spawns in the wild, and the Omega Infergon cannot be caught. You evolve your own.

How do you get a Perfect Potential Helmwhelp?

Catch the Jawling or Helmwhelp as an Umbral, which always rolls Perfect innate Potential, or catch it with a Sparkling Cube. Otherwise you have to raise its acquired Potential afterwards.

What level does Helmwhelp evolve into Infergon?

Level 48, once the Omega Infergon is beaten and the Helmwhelp has Perfect Potential. Wayfarer I caps your Aniimo at 45, so your title has to be past it first.

Where is the Omega Infergon?

South of the Russet Highlands Bloom. It can be fought three times a week and cannot be caught.

Is Infergon a Fire type?

Yes. Infergon is Fire and plays DPS, with ATK 125 its highest base stat. Its Prismana form is Fire and Wind.
