Pathfinder talents
Talents are your Pathfinder's own skills and passive bonuses. Each new title unlocks another tier, and you learn and upgrade talents with Report Cards. You get Report Cards from level milestones and promotions, Elite Pathfinder wins, Growth Story quests and Aniilog levels. Learn Gravity Pull as soon as Student II opens it, because ruin puzzles need it. Then put early points into Enhanced Twining and Elemental Boost. A full reset costs 2,000 Credits and gives back every Report Card.

Learn, upgrade and reset talents
- Get promoted, because each new title unlocks the next tier of talents.
- Open the Talents screen and spend Report Cards to learn a talent.
- Spend more Report Cards to level up a passive. Depending on the talent, it can go up to five levels.
- Want to start over? Press the button at the bottom right of the Talents screen and pay 2,000 Credits. Good news: every Report Card you spent comes back.
What to learn first
- Gravity Pull (Student II), because you need it to move objects in ruin puzzles.
- Enhanced Twining and Elemental Boost (Student I). They give you more damage while Twining and stronger elemental counters.
- Boss Breaker (Student II), which gives 5% more damage to Alphas and Omegas.
- Master Catcher (Student III). It puts the Aniipod Mega, Hyper, Track and the Tumbler on sale in shops.
- Revive (Wayfarer I) brings a fainted Aniimo back during long boss fights, so you get a second chance. Quick Twine (Wayfarer II) makes Twining instant.
- Measured Strike (Wayfarer III) gives 10% more damage to anything in BREAK.
Pro Catcher and Master Catcher don't give you any Aniipods. They only put better Aniipods on sale in shops. You still have to buy them with Credits.
Talents that unlock evolutions
Some passive talents are only there to unlock an evolution. Dreamsong lets Nimbi become Dreaple, and Magical Horn lets Chirpi become Tromber. Peculiar Rock Ball lets Baleetle become Bouldus, and Unwavering Rampart lets Helmut become Rookey.
Each of these evolutions has other requirements too, such as a level and evolution stones. So check the full list before you spend your Report Cards.
