Every Aniipod
Aniimo has eight everyday catching devices plus crafted Legendary Aniipods. The basic Aniipod is ×1, the Aniipod Pro ×1.5, and the Hyper, Trace, Mega and Tumbler ×2, with the Tumbler jumping to ×6 on Wild Surge targets. The Aniipod Ultra always catches with at least Elite Potential, and the Sparkling Cube always catches with Perfect Potential and a Sparkling look. Better pods unlock in shops through the Pro Catcher and Master Catcher talents.

The Aniipod Trace is often called the Aniipod Track.
Unlock better Aniipods in shops
- Learn the Pathfinder talent Pro Catcher, available from the Student I title. It unlocks the Aniipod Pro.
- Learn Master Catcher, from Student III. It unlocks the Aniipod Mega, Hyper, Trace and the Tumbler.
- Buy them from Joff, the Outpost Vendor, or from the Credit Shop and the Super Claw on Astra.
Trade vouchers and crystals
- Open the Shop and go to the Corner Shop tab.
- Choose Exchange, then Outpost Vendor.
- In Item Exchange, trade 20 Aniipod Ultra Vouchers for an Aniipod Ultra, or Sparkling Crystals for a Sparkling Cube.
Use an Aniipod Ultra or a Sparkling Cube on Alphas. A defeated common Alpha has only a 6% base catch chance, and both always succeed.
Aniipods on eggs
When you hatch an egg you pick an Aniipod for it. Only two change anything: an Aniipod Ultra guarantees at least Elite Potential, and a Sparkling Cube gives Perfect Potential and a Sparkling look. The others add nothing.
Legendary Aniipods
Legendary Aniimo are caught with a Legendary Aniipod you craft yourself from legendary tokens. This season that means Irisalis Petals: 99 craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, which opens the one-time Irisalis encounter. After that, 49 petals each craft the Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser's Departure, up to 10 per account: a guaranteed catch that comes out Sparkling, with Perfect Potential and a trail of flowers that follows it, this season only.
Shop prices
In the Credit Shop: Aniipod 2,000 or 3,500 Credits, Aniipod Pro 4,000, Aniipod Mega 6,000 and Tumbler 200,000. At the Super Claw: Aniipod 3,500, Pro 7,000, Mega 10,500, Tumbler 100,000, and Hyper and Trace 7,200 each.
Missed throws
A thrown Aniipod that misses is picked back up automatically, so a miss costs you nothing. Since the 18 September patch the game also stops mailing an error notice for common Aniipods; they are still returned.

What Aniipods are there in Aniimo?
Aniipod, Aniipod Pro, Aniipod Mega, Aniipod Hyper, Aniipod Trace (often called Track), Tumbler, Aniipod Ultra and Sparkling Cube, plus crafted Legendary Aniipods.
What is the best Aniipod?
