The minerals packed into its mud ball gradually bind and compress through constant jolts, turning it into a stone ball and awakening consciousness within. Sick of being pushed around, it devours an insect body and can finally move by its own will.
A Bouldus that lives in the snowfield. They roll constantly in the snow, compressing the frost on their bodies into solid ice crystals, including the carrot that came from nowhere.
