How to get Somniwing
Somniwing never appears in the wild, in an egg or in a shop. Instead, reach 180 Elite Training points to unlock the quest The Promised Moment of the Butterfly Shadows. Next, call Dr. Lewis, then talk to him at the Outpost, and Somniwing joins you. It's a Grass and Wind Aniimo that restores the team's EP. That's why so many boss and Egg Heist teams use it.
How to get it
- Unlock Elite Training. To do this, defeat and catch Alpha Turbo at the end of the main quest Chasing the Clouds. Then talk to Dr. Lewis.
- Earn Elite Training points from any of its courses. Keep going until the progress bar reaches 180.
- Accept the quest The Promised Moment of the Butterfly Shadows.
- Call Dr. Lewis, then talk to him at the Outpost. Somniwing joins you.

What it does in a fight
Butterfly Dance, its Ultimate, restores a lot of EP. Ethereal Light Wave absorbs enemy projectiles. It also raises the EP recovery of every teammate it passes. Hypnotic Spores puts a target to sleep, so it takes more damage and can't act until it's hit. Watch out: Grass Aniimo are immune to it.
These skills are why tier lists name it the best Regen pick. They're also why the team most players copy for Egg Heist uses it as the EP assist.
Don't worry, Elite Training objectives never expire, so you can't miss Somniwing. Bonus: the same progress bar gives a Sparkling Cube at 120 points on the way.
