Secrets and side quests

The short answer

The best-known secret is the Secret Cave behind a waterfall at the north end of the river in Echoback Landing: leave two Susuta alone, walk out and back in, and an egg appears. Morphling's Memory tablets in five regions ask you to spot a fake Aniimo. Mysterious Presence, from a glitching sign in Astra, sends you after nine Voxel Cubes. Several quests only work at night.

The Secret Cave egg

Go to the north end of the river in Echoback Landing, behind the waterfall. The area is rated for levels 37 to 41.
Inside, two Susuta sit in a ring of clam shells. Do not attack them.
Leave the cave and walk back in.

Watch out

Since the day-one patch the egg is an Incredible Egg with a random Elite Aniimo, not a Prismana.

Every Morphling's Memory

Tideblossom Coast	Across from the Bloom; the fake is the Bulbly next to the apparatus

Touch the stone tablet, then find the Aniimo that reacts oddly or shows the wrong emotion; a wrong pick just ejects you. Each one gives a Morphling Mask Fragment, Glimmer, Credits and a Growth Flower.

Mysterious Presence and the Voxel Cubes

Start it at the glitching sign outside ChillBeanz in Astra's Horizon Square. Markers do not always appear, so track it from the Log. You gather nine Voxel Cubes around Horizon Square: slider puzzles at glitching signs, a seesaw and a swing ridden with your Aniimo, two numbered floor lines stepped on from 1 to 8, helping Jiff on top of SuperClaw, and Judy's music puzzle. Then beat three Voxelic boss phases, Water, Ice and Dark, in the Holo-Lab.

For Judy's puzzle, choose Hey at Chirpi, Hey hey at Tromber, and Hey hey hey hey at Cornet. The rewards: 200 Voxel Coins, 50 Glimmer, 60,000 Credits, 1,000 EXP and the Aimo Core.

More hidden quests

Is That a... Lighthouse?: catch Alpha Luminelle on Tideblossom Coast's south island, then at night talk to the Bulbly on the cliff, collect six volumes of Treasures of the Sea and Where to Find Them, and tell it a story. Veilfloat joins you.
Secret of the Golden Helmet: unmarked, west of First Sight Sanctum in Russet Highlands. Twine with an Aniimo that has Cloak, such as Wisptis, sneak past the Devoted Helmut to take the golden helmet, then catch the Mountain Woods Helmut it becomes.
Come Out, Floret: follow the clue A Little Flower? to Clovis in Bloomville and catch six regional forms of Iris.
Shooting Stars: at night, watch one land to meet an Alpha Luminelle.
Starine: place it in an Aniimo nest in the Forest of Falling Stars and something magical may happen.
