Alpha Geoclaw
Alpha Geoclaw is an Ice Alpha in a flooded cave under northwest Nimbus Fields, and you can't reach it until you've fed 120 Lumin Amber into the Breezy Plains Branch. Bring Fire, and not as a preference: Fire skills are how you break out of its Ice Prison before its heavy attack lands. It has the highest physical defence of any Aniimo, so do your damage through Break.

How to beat it
- Bring at least one Fire Aniimo. Fire breaks you out of the Ice Prison before the heavy attack lands.
- Its physical defence is the highest in the game, so raw physical hits are poor value. Break it and do your damage in the Break windows.
- When it tunnels underground, hit it with a Pound skill to launch it back out.
- Take a Fire Aniimo, a Breaker, a damage dealer and a healer.
What it does
Ice Prison. It freezes you in place ahead of a heavy attack. Fire skills break you out in time.
Tunnelling. It burrows and keeps attacking from underground until a Pound skill knocks it back into the air.
