    A Tale of Tide and Song

    The short answer

    A Tale of Tide and Song is the new story quest in Season 1, Part 2, which arrives on October 29. Finishing it is one of three things you need to reach the Whisperwake Isles. The other two are level 55 and the Grade I Trailblazer title. Part 2 also brings two more new storylines, Secluded Seas and Challenge of the Roaring Rapids.

    How to reach the Whisperwake Isles

    1. Reach level 55. Wayfarer III caps you there.
    2. Get promoted to Grade I Trailblazer. Its promotion quest opens at level 55, once you've done Elite Training chapter 6.
    3. Finish A Tale of Tide and Song.

    • A Tale of Tide and Song. This one opens the isles.
    • Secluded Seas.
    • Challenge of the Roaring Rapids.

    Where the story leaves off

    Before Part 2, the main story ends with A New Journey. You free Irelia inside the Amethyst Tree in Rainbow of the Ground, then go back to Bloomville to find Sunia.
