An Alpha Egg always hatches an Aniimo from the region you found it in, with the Alpha mutation. Fourteen are in the open world: one in most regions and two in Zephyrus Landbridge. Most sit on cliffs, treetops and peaks, so bring a flying Aniimo to Twine with. You can also earn one from the Elite Training task Vein Revival. The Young Sherro in Echoback Landing gives an Alpha Shelly Egg, and the Nighttime Visitor rumor in Blitzwood gives an Alpha Bolty Egg. Here's a tip: hatch one with a Sparkling Cube for an Aniimo that's Alpha, Sparkling and Perfect.

## What the Alpha mutation is

An Alpha Egg always hatches an Aniimo from the region where you found the egg. That Aniimo has the Alpha mutation. The egg's own description talks about its unusual size and powerful energy. The Alpha Shelly and Alpha Bolty Eggs tell you which Aniimo they hold, right in their names.

Good news: the Alpha mutation stacks with everything else. Hatch the egg with a Sparkling Cube, and the Aniimo comes out Alpha and Sparkling, with Perfect Potential.

## Tips

- Most eggs sit on cliffs, treetops and peaks. To reach them, bring an Aniimo that can fly and Twine with it.
